BASEBALL: Yakima Youth Baseball and the Yakima Pepsi Beetles will host the second annual Yakima Youth Baseball Golf Tournament on Sept. 19 at Apple Tree Golf Course. All former Beetles are encouraged to participate. Awards and prizes will be presented. For more information call 966-1240, Ext. 4.

GOLF: La Salle High School will be hosting the second annual O'Brien Golf Classic on Sept. 6 at SunTides Golf Course. It is a four-man scramble open to the public with a shotgun start at 9 a.m. The entry fee is $125 per person or $500 for a team. Entry forms are available at La Salle. There will be prizes given at the luncheon to follow. Included in the fee is a golf cart, hat, golf balls and lunch. GYMNASTICS: The Gymnastics Plus booster club, a non-profit organization, will be holding a day camp for boys and girls ages
5 and up on Aug. 15 from 3:30-7:30 p.m. The cost is $40 and includes a shirt and camp photo. For more information, call Shannon at 945-0845.

VOLLEYBALL: The Central Washington Volleyball Board of Officials will hold its first rules meeting at 6 p.m. on Aug. 12 in the MLK room at Yakima Valley Community College. Anyone interested in officiating this season is urged to attend. For more information call Dick Eglet at 945-2379.
